About Barbara Wheeler
My Story
Barbara Wheeler’s journey into writing and spiritual exploration began at a tender age, around 12 years old. Writing, drawing, and the captivating allure of words have always been her passions. Little did she know then that her destiny would be intricately woven with the “Wildfire of Words,” igniting a path of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
In 2005, Barbara’s quest for spiritual knowledge commenced, setting her on a treasure hunt for wisdom through journaling and extensive reading. It was during this transformative period that a pivotal encounter with a spiritual advisor bestowed upon her the title of her inaugural book.
Although Barbara had never envisioned writing a book, the bestowed title sparked a deep dive into research. The road proved challenging, strewn with vast amounts of information that initially seemed overwhelming. Undeterred, Barbara delved into exploring various cultures, facing strict privacy and initiation barriers that further fueled her determination.

Personal Life
Amidst her exhaustive research, a serendipitous discovery at the library—where she stumbled upon a free book-writing class—propelled her forward. The class revealed the intricate process of book creation, marking a pivotal moment in her journey.
Through years of research and spiritual education, Barbara’s perspective expanded, unveiling forgotten truths and inspiring renewed research into her book’s title. Subsequently, she submitted her manuscript with high hopes, only to confront deflated expectations. This setback led her to contemplate abandoning her writing aspirations.
During a spiritual hiatus for reflection, a timely memory from Ms. Wilkins reignited Barbara’s passion. Enrolling in another spiritual class birthed a new book title, tapping into profound spiritual knowledge that rekindled her love for writing.
For eight years, Barbara diligently crafted her book—a culmination of life lessons and spiritual revelations. She came to realize that her life’s filtering process, peeling away insecurities and fears, unwittingly prepared her for this transformative journey.
Barbara’s book delves into the filtering process of life, uncovering the wisdom accrued through surrendering to the Divine. She embarked on her own yellow brick road, discovering life’s complexities beyond the Wizard of Oz’s facade—where skies can be both blue and gray, and the pursuit of gold questions our motives.
Through seasons of change, Barbara learned that healing and growth occur on all levels, illuminating the path to true treasures within.
